Proposed N3 Billion Shopping Mall in Kwara State - Conceptual Pictures and Update


Ilorin — Kwara State Government and a foreign firm have concluded deal to construct a N3 billion ultra modern shopping Mall for the comfort of her citizenry in the state.




To be located in the state capital, Ilorin, the state's Commissioner for Information and Communication, Ben Duntoye, who disclosed this in a chat with Daily Trust, added that it is the decision of the state's Executive Council.

"Government is partnering Persianas Investment Limited, a foreign firm on the construction of the mall with equity share of about N500 million, which include land in the construction of the ultra modern shopping mall".

Meanwhile, the commissioner also disclosed that the state government has also approved another N1.2 billion for the procurement of equipment for the state's Advanced Diagnostic Centre, which is also to the built in Ilorin.

Speaking further on the centre, the state's Commissioner for Health, Alhaji Oladimeji Hassan, said the procurement of the equipment was contracted to Medquip Medical Service, which would also render technical management before the state government takes over the centre.
